Devil May Cry 5 Has Sold 2.7 Million Copies

Devil May Cry 5, released in March 2019 for the PC, Xbox One and PlayStation 4, has sold 2.7 million copies worldwide (as of September 30, 2019), Capcom announced. The entire series thus comes to more than 20 million units.

The game says: “The demonic invasion begins when the seeds of the demon tree take root in Red Grave City. This hellish idea draws the attention of the young demon hunter Nero, an ally of Dante, to whom his demonic arm is a source of great strength.

Together with his partner Nico, Nero heads to Red Grave City in his motorhome named Devil May Cry, and Nero hire Nico, who has learned the art of weapon-making, to design some mechanical Devil Breaker arms. These are supposed to give him the extra strength needed to face evil demons like the flying, blood-sucking Empusa and the gigantic colossus Goliath. ”
