Patent applications from Nintendo suggest that it will create the “Donkey Konga” bongos and a keyboard on the switch.
Nintendo hinted a few days ago that you do not have too much interest in an improved version of the Switch. Instead, you want to provide the switch with new peripherals, such as “Nintendo Labo”. The Japanese console manufacturer filed patents with the United States Patent and Trademark Office last year to support this statement.
Thus, it is quite possible that Nintendo will release the bongo controllers for the switches used at GameCube times for “Donkey Konga” and “Donkey Kong: Jungle Beat”. Another patent mentions a keyboard for the switch. Especially the bongos would certainly be fun. However, patents do not necessarily mean that they become a finished product.
