God Of War Director Cory Barlog Is Not Interested In Multiplayer Games

HE WILL CONTINUE TO WORK ON SINGLEPLAYER CONTENT

The God of War director Cory Barlog will not soon develop a pure multiplayer game because he simply is not interested in it. The new God of War does not have any multiplayer modes, and it’s safe to assume that if the sequel returns and Cory Barlog remains the director, it will again focus on the singleplayer.

“I do not want to work on any games that do not have a story component, because that’s not the right choice for me, the competition does not drive me, I do not want to say that competition is bad, I do not want to say that competitive games are bad because I like them, but it’s just not my cup of tea, “says Cory Barlog, who thinks there’s still plenty of room for single-player games driven by the storyline.
