Microïds has announced a collaboration with Philippe Dessoly and Pierre Adane to bring new life to the arcade game “Toki” (“Juju Densetsu” in Japan). “We’re excited to bring this character and concept back to life, and we can not wait to see the remake with completely redesigned graphics, bringing together Philippe Dessoly and Pierre Adane is very promising,” explains Alain Milly, VP Publishing for microïds.
“Toki” was first published in 1989. Philippe Dessoly, the artist for the original “Toki” on the Amiga, takes over again the artistic direction at the remake. The new edition will be released for the Switch at the end of 2018, but an exact release date was not mentioned.
