Microsoft Introduces Groove Music Formerly Known As Xbox Music

Microsoft is introducing the music service GrooveMusic, which also affects Xbox One owners. A transition to Spotify is possible.

If you like to use Groove Music (formerly Xbox Music) on your Xbox One, you have to say goodbye, because as Microsoft announced, Groove Music will be discontinued on 31 December 2017. The matching app loses its main functions. Streaming, buying and downloading music will no longer be possible. Anyone who has bought music will be able to play it through GrooveMusic.

After all, Microsoft has entered into a partnership with Spotify this year. That is why an update is released for the GrooveMusic app, so users can transfer their collections and playlists to Spotifiy. This will be possible by the end of January 2018.
