As we have already said, “Battlefield V” will do without loot boxes, but that does not apply to microtransactions. As Electronic Arts has confirmed, there will be a premium currency that can be purchased through real money. This is then used to buy cosmetic items for the shooter.
There will also be a second currency (“grind currency”) that can only be earned through gameplay. However, it is clear that microtransactions can not buy items that affect the gameplay in any way. “Battlefield V” will be released on October 19, 2018 for the PC, the Xbox One, and the PlayStation 4.
