In just a few months, 704 Games and Monster Games want to release the racing simulation “NASCAR Heat 2” for consoles and the PC. Meanwhile, the developers have provided a new video, in which they deal with the innovations compared to the predecessor. The players can look forward to the introduction of two new racing series. In this case, the Xfinity Series and the Camping World Trucks series are intended to give more depth to the career mode.
In addition, players can expect splitscreen support as well as the inclusion of the new stage format. The official announcement of the stage format also surprised the developers, so you had to rewrite more than 300,000 lines of code. The Trucks Series also brings the dirt racing into the game, which should provide their drifts for tension. In another video you can already take a look at the Eldora Speedway, which is just one of six new tracks.
In addition, 32 drivers of the Trucks Series, including Matt Crafton and Johnny Sauter, will be included in the game. The complete driver list can be found here . “NASCAR Heat 2” will appear in North America on September 12, 2017 for the PlayStation 4, Xbox One and the PC. It is not known whether the game will be released in Europe in a timely fashion.
