New Update For Halo: The Master Chief Collection In Summer

The new update for “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” is scheduled to be released in the summer of 2018, including Xbox One X support.

If everything goes according to plan and nothing goes wrong, then the new update for “Halo: The Master Chief Collection” will appear sometime in the summer of 2018. Unfortunately, 343 Industries could not be more accurate. “Ultimately, this project is driven primarily by quality, so the team takes as much time as necessary to achieve its goals, and we’ll continue to keep you up to date on the release dates as the team progresses does, “they say.

Technical enhancements for the Xbox One X are also on board, with the following optimizations for the update being prioritized:

  • Intelligent Install
  • Xbox One X Visual Enhancements
  • HDR / SDR Calibration Settings
  • Networking and Matchmaking Improvements (Continuous Matchmaking, Network / Multiplayer API updates)
  • P1 & P2 bug fixes
  • LAN support
  • UI & UX Updates (Main Menu, Title Screen Video, Button States / Highlight States)

This means that the often desired custom game browser will not be included in this first update. Fortunately, there will be at least one more update for “Halo: The Master Chief Collection”. That’s why the feature is implemented.
