Quake Champions will soon receive a new Gore system. In the revised system, the opponents are broken down into many different pieces.
In the video, which was published on Twitter, the whole thing is demonstrated a little more detail. An appointment was not mentioned. Below you can see the details of the recently released April update.

April update for Quake Champions
- New Champion – Strogg: Half military metal, half rotting flesh, completely furious: The biggest enemy of Quake II and Quake 4 is back and struggling to escape the dream lands to contact his merciless warlord Makron. Players can also take control of Strogg’s companion Peeker, a flying drone who throws bombs around. Interested opponents are processed into a nutritious porridge called Stroyent, which restores 25 HP, but do not dawdle – even other Stroggs can pick up this treat.
- New Arena – Awoken: In the new arena, which appears this month, players will find themselves in a misty maze of tropical ruins. This tendril-overgrown arena is playable in Deathmatch, Team Deathmatch, Duel, 2v2 and Instagib modes. Stay alert and alive, champions.
- New Weapon – Plasma Gun: This weapon is the concentrated charge of nostalgia and firepower – the Plasma Gun from Quake III Arena has found a new home in Quake Champions! This powerful cannon transforms unprepared enemies with shots of pure energy into unprepared slag puddles!
- Free bonuses for everyone: Quake Champions is developing splendidly in early access. That’s why we wanted to thank all the players who help make the game faster, stronger and better than ever. To thank them for their support, all players receive three free chests and an infantry armor set for rangers – with all additions – just by logging in!
