Rockstar Games has been working on Red Dead Redemption 2 for the past eight years as the work began immediately following the first Red Dead Redemption in 2010. That’s what the co-studio boss of Rockstar North, Rob Nelson, revealed. He added, “I think when we finished this, we decided which story to tell for the sequel.” Red Dead Redemption 2 will be released on October 26, 2018, for Xbox One and PlayStation 4.
The story reads: “America, 1899. The end of the Wild West era has dawned and lawmakers are hunting down the last remaining outlaw gangs, and those who resist and fail will be killed after a failed robbery in the city Blackwater.
Arthur Morgan and the Van der Linde gang on the run, with federal agents and the country’s best bounty hunters on their tail, the gang has to plow, steal, and fight its way through America’s merciless heart To survive, as heightened internal conflict threatens to tear the gangs apart, Arthur must choose between his own ideas and his loyalty to the gait with which he once grew up. ”
