White Paper Games, known from Ether One, has once again postponed the political adventure The Occupation, which plays from a first-person perspective and takes place in England in the 1980s. Instead of February 5, 2019, The Occupation will be released on March 5, 2019, for the PC, Xbox One, and PlayStation 4.
The Occupation is about a terrorist attack in England that cost the lives of 23 people in 1987. The government wants to take this as an opportunity to pass a law (“The Union Act”) that drastically curtails citizens’ freedoms.
As a journalist, in four hours you have the opportunity to greatly influence whether the law will succeed in voting in parliament. One determines the future of the country while investigating the evidence. The events take place in real time. So you have four hours of real time.
We've finally been able to lock the release date of The Occupation to 5th March, 2019. We've had to wait a little longer to get organised on all the platforms but we've had the green light so we should be able to share our last 4 years of work with you VERY soon. pic.twitter.com/MFwTBXndnA
